Why Be Part of a Church? |
Receiving Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and Lord is just the beginning of a faith journey that lasts the rest of life. Everyone who has truly received Jesus as his or her personal Savior belongs to the family of God and is a member of the spiritual body of Christ, the Church. God desires all of us who are believers to actively fellowship with other Christians so that we can receive instruction and encouragement in our shared faith, can serve and minister to each other's needs, can collectively worship the Lord and can work together in sharing the good news of Christ with those who still need Him as their Savior. | |
Hebrews 10:24-25: "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day [of Christ's return] approaching." |
If you do not already have a good God-honoring, Bible-teaching, Gospel-proclaiming, believer-encouraging church that you're part of, we would count it a privilege to have you worship and fellowship at our church. |
